School

I should probably update this.

School started last Thursday, and I've already skipped a class today due to not being able to get out of bed (shifty eyes). It's been a little slow, since I'm taking the minimum progress units. Plus most of my work is just reading, which, while convenient, can be boring and unmotivating.

So apparently I get to flip sheep in lab tomorrow. I have no idea what the purpose of that is, nor how to do it, but I suppose I will find out eh?

I start work on Saturday. It's a six-hour orientation shift at my old DC. Joy.

On the bright side, there was a study abroad fair yesterday, and I managed to come away with like five million brochures. I also talked to two Australians and an English person (probably a Londoner from the accent), which made me giddy. And like half the agencies, including summer abroad next year at Davis, had Ireland on their list. :D It's a sign, I swear. I would freaking love to take classes on Irish culture for a month over the summer. So, I'm crossing my fingers. ^^

I'm So Gonna Be a Cat Lady One Day

This has got to be the cutest thing I've ever seen.

Also, this totally cracked me up.

Yes, I'm a freak.

Finally Registered

I'm pretty satisfied with my schedule, minus the fact that I got waitlisted for Soc 1. Otherwise, it looks like a fairly easy quarter is coming up. Hopefully I get to go to San Jose before classes start; I'd say that's a better way to kick off the school year than dancing with the cows.

My Celtic Thunder CD arrived! Of course, it contains less than half of the songs on the DVD, so I'm waiting to get Act 2 since my birthday is coming up. *hint hint*

Umm what else... I still have pretty much nothing to do, and today I got desperate enough to wake up about four hours earlier than usual to go volunteer downtown. At least Disneyland is in less than two days. :D

I Just Had Dinner at McDonald's

Yeah, I know. Shut up.

It was funny, though, because there were these two guys sitting behind me who were eating out of Happy Meal boxes. When they were ordering, the cashier kept asking them if the toys were okay. Hilarious.

Chapman University just sent me their viewbook. I don't know if I should still consider it, because of certain....circumstances. Funny how I never believed people should base their life around said circumstances, and yet here I am revolving my decisions around them.

Two days till I (finally) register for classes! I'm excited. And then Disneyland on Sunday. It seriously can't come fast enough.

I Never Realized Gymnastics Was So Enthralling

Or that the entire Olympics were so enthralling.

But yeah, I really thought China or some other country had it. Who knew the US would get both first and second? :D

Woo, more swimming coming up!

WE BEAT THE FRENCH!

"The Americans? We're going to smash them. That's what we came here for."

BAHAHAHAHAHAHA. In yo' face, Frenchies.

Harry Potter 6, Ireland, and Other Such Things

I have to admit, the HBP trailer makes the movie look pretty darn amazing. Whoever they cast to play Riddle... brilliant. Since David Yates directed this one too, I'm not worried that they screwed up the characters (*coughroncough*). I just hope they didn't cut it insanely short this time.

I was looking at Ireland tours last night, which is nothing new, but for some reason I went over the top with excitement this time. Since my travel plans never work out (or any plans for that matter), I am absolutely determined to get to Ireland within the next year, no matter the sacrifices.

I have to move out of the apartment tomorrow. I hate moving. And I just realized how much I've been missing out on this summer, but I don't really care for some reason. I suppose that's good in the sense that I don't regret it, but bad in the sense that I keep telling myself I'll have other opportunities, when in reality time is too short.

Summer school is over on Saturday. I'm absolutely terrified of the final. God, I despise math. Like my favorite teacher ever Swanson says: "Calculus? Who cares about calculus?"
